AMANDA TAPPING

Amanda Tapping was born in Rochford, England and raised in Toronto with her three brothers. After graduating from the University of Windsor School of Dramatic Art, Tapping performed in theatrical productions such as “Steel Magnolias,” “Look Back in Anger,” “The Lion in Winter,” “Noises Off,” “The Shadow Walkers,” and “Children of a Lesser God.” Because of Tapping’s belief that comedy opens people’s minds she co-founded the Canadian comedy troupe Random Acts.

She has guest starred on such television series as “The X-Files,” “Due South,” “Forever Knight,” “Kung Fu: The Legend Continues,” “The Newsroom,” “The Outer Limits,” and was a series regular on the Disney series “Flash Forward.” Tapping has appeared on television films such as “Lessons in Love,” “Remembrance,” and Degree of Guilt.” Her film credits also include “Booty Call” and “Rent a Kid.”

Tapping now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia with her husband. Off the set she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, skiing and riding horses.
 
 


RICHARD DEAN ANDERSON

Internationally known as MacGyver, Richard Dean Anderson was born and raised in Minneaopolis, Minnesota. Anderson’s first career goal was to become a professional
hockey player but, after breaking both arms in separate collisions on the ice, he decided to seek other career options.

After completing a cross country bicycle trip to Alaska, Anderson began studying drama at St. Cloud State College and Ohio University. He then relocated to Los Angeles, where he paid his way working as a street mime, a writer/director/performer at Marineland and a performer at a 16th century Renaissance-style cabaret.

Throughout his long career, he has appeared in several television dramas including “General Hospital,” “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers,” and “Emerald Point,” as well as his favourite television project, “Legend.” Anderson has also starred in several television movies such as “Ordinary Heroes,” “Past the Bleachers,” “Eyes of a Stranger,” “Through the Eyes of a Killer,” and “Beyond Betrayal,” as well as the NBC mini-series “Pandora’s Clock.”

Anderson shares time between his homes in California and British Columbia with his wife Apryl and his daughter Wylie Quinn Annarose. In his free time off the set he enjoys skiing, playing hockey, racing cars and cycling. He is the co-founder of the Celebrity All Star Hockey Team which raises funds for charities in conjunction with the NHL.
 
 



MICHAEL SHANKS

 Michael Shanks was born in Vancouver and raised in Kamloops, British Columbia with his older brother. Michael Shanks studied commerce before discovering his true passion, acting, at the University of British Colombia. After graduating in 1994 with a bachelor of arts degree in Fine Arts, he travelled to Ontario, spending two seasons with the world renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival. His performances there included roles in “Merchant of Venice,” “Macbeth,” “King Lear,” “Amedeus,” and  “The Merry Wives of Windsor.” Other theatre credits include “Love of the Nightingale,” “Translations,” “Wait until Dark,” and “Loves Labours Lost.”

Shanks has also guest starred in a number of television series and films such as “The Outer Limits,” “Highlander,” “The Commish,” “University Hospital,” “Madison,” “A Family Divided,” and the mini series “Eye Level.” His film credits include”Call of the Wild” with Rutgar Hauer.

On his free time, Shanks likes to roller blade, windsurf, ski and play hockey.
 
 


CHRISTOPHER JUDGE

Los Angeles native Christopher Judge seemed pre-destined to have a career in football after receiving a football scholarship from the University of Oregon, becoming a three time All-American and playing in the Hula Bowl, however, acting was always in his heart.

Whilst in Oregon, Judge entered and won a contest to host a morning radio show. This stint as a DJ helped him break into acting and he soon began studying at the renowned Howard Fine Studio in Los Angeles. Judge has appeared in several television series such as “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air”, “Macgyver”, “Martin”, “2i Jump Street,” “Wise Guy,” “Gabriel’s Fire,” and “Sirens.” His film credits include “Bird on a Wire,” “Cadence,” “House Party 2,” “Little Feet,” and “The Glory Years.”

Off the set, Judge enjoys playing golf. He is also an avid athlete.
